Hi All.
Well finally I've gotten the roaccutane to solve my 20 years long acne problem. I've been taking 40mg for three weeks, and so far my back is much clearer. my skin is very dry, which in a way is good, finally I am not oily or shiny all day every day!
Im taking the tablets with cereals and soya milk in a morning - wondering if a bit of peanut butter would also help?
Side effects - dry lips, extremely cracked dry corner of mouth - but nothing I can't deal with there - also the insides of my nose are very very dry and scratchy.
So far no joint pains and I do a fair bit of exercise, between 4-6 classes a week at my gym (Bodypump, Bodyattack etc)
Back next week for a blood test and seeing the dermo for my 6 weekly check up on the 9th Dec.
I'm in the UK, aged 37 and male - just FYI - wondering if any other chaps my age are on this med too ?
My girlfriend is very pleased with the results already and I'm so happy so far too!
Keep in mind that you are gonna get VERY dry. So get a good moisturizer. I use jojobaoil for my lips with chopsticks.
Anyway, take Accutane with the highest fatty meal of the day. Soy doesn't contain much fat, so yes, adding some more will help with better absorption and better results.
