Hi, i took accutane almost ten years ago and became severly depressed overnight.

Since then ive always wanted to give it another shot because the depression wont go away anyway.

Im on it again now for about a month and nothings really happened, 40/mg weighing 75kg 27y/ old male.

No drieness to speak of, no breakout..nothing that compares to the previous ones.

2.5 years ago i had a clot that almost killed me because swedish healthcare wouldnt

help me untill i found out what i had due to the internet.

The question i have is if i can tell her i had a clot because i think some newfound red spots on my

chest is because of my poor bloodcirculation as a result of my dysfunctional vein.

I dont really care if i die due to a clot but i dont want her to quit accutane because of it.

Thank you.

The question was if i could tell her about my previous clot without her quitting accutane.

I also have had no side effects from accutane this time around, no nothing basically.

Before i took 60/mg daily and had severe side effects, have i gotten immune?

Im also worried about skeletal changes, how common are they?

I 'am sorry, but unbelievable!!!! You developed depression, have had a clot and pretty much state that you rather die then have acne. You have to be honest about your health history, Accutane is a harsh and dangerous drug. No one can answer if you tell your doctor you had a clot previously if they will take you off Accutane.

As for bone issues it caused Osteopenia and loss of height in me and I was 31 at the time. It has a profound effect on bones, which may not be noticeable or a issue till down the road depending how young you are. Many have had spine issues etc.

I always say that Accutane is like Russian Roulette! Why not try light therapy or look at the holistic forum.
