Hi guys! I have been using retin-a for three months and I don't know if I'm seeing improvements or not. I will have a couple really good days where my skin looks great but then I will have a terrible break out - ones that are worse than before starting treatment. My derm said it will take three months to work. Here I am still breaking out. Advice?
HI There - I think if you have given it a solid 3 months maybe it is time to try something different or add something to your regimine? Perhaps you could add a topical or oral antibiotic? I am in week 3 of differin and tetracycline and so far I have noticed some improvement, hopefully it continues, but I would think by the 3 month mark you would notice some improvement?
