I suspect there may be no definitive answer to this, but I am interested in people's opinions or if anyone has had similar experience.

I did a course of Accutane when I was 18 and another when I was 19. My acne returned both times. I preceded to use Dan's regimen to keep my acne in check for the next 12 years (I am almost 32). I am curious if I took another course of Accutane now could it put my acne into remission as I am a lot older and therefore my acne should be milder. Or does the fact that it came back both previous times mean that it most likely would again despite me being significantly older this time.

I don't 100% remember how much Accutane I took and for how long, but I think it was 60mg/day for 4 or 5 months. I would've weighed about 70 kgs. I might see if I can find this out definitively to make sure I took a cumulative does of 120-150mg/kg. If I did take a does of 120-150mg does this mean a third course would be unlikely to put me into remission.

Also could low dose long-term Accutane be an option, and if so is it feasible to take indefinitely (or at least for a significant period of time)?

PS. I have been using epiduo for the last 4 months after 12 years of the regimen, which controls my acne reasonably well but not as well as the regimen.
