Hey guys,

I was on rooaccultane when I was 19, the sides were very bad. Nose bled all the time, bones ached, the usual dry lips etc However, 6 months of this poision cleared my acne, 7 years later and my acne is back and it has been bad now for almost a year.

I seen my derma 3 months ago and he tried to put me on accutane, I said NO WAY! He gave me topical creams instead, I promisedmyself I would never touch roaccutane again...

Until today, I now have about 15 cysts on my neck, shaving is a nightmare! 2 large cysts on each temple and one about to start on my forehead. Enough is enough.

I want to prepare for this rooaccutane cycle to get the best from it, I am going to eat loads of fruit and veg each day but waht supplements to take? Zinc? ZMA'S?

Is it adviseable to use the sauna and steam rooms while using rooaccutane?

Hello

Is your acne associated with oily skin?

According to the literature, there is no evidence for the usefulness of particular supplements while on Accutane, although only Vitamin E has been tested to my knowledge:

I wouldn't worry too much about taking supplements on Accutane, except maybe fish oil if you get joint pain:

I would be wary of using a sauna while on Accutane, because Accutane is already dehydrating for your body, and you don't want to exacerbate this.

What is crucial is that:

  1. You take your pills with food to
  2. Once your course is over and you are clear, you initiate a such as a topical retinoid to retain the improvement produced by Accutane.

Good luck
