Yes I took biotin the entire course. I dont remember the exact dosage taken. I got it from target and it was the only dosage they had it was 2 dollars a bottle. I took it at with my morning accutane pills. After I stopped accutane I stopped biotin. Because biotin can cause acne in lot of people. But lucky me I started to lose hair after my course!. So I started biotin again and after three months my hair stopped falling out and I was able to stop the biotin without any further issues.

Not at all I was as dry as the desert!

I remember the doctors said it was ok to take vitamins (not vitamin a of course) during accutane but he recommended that I take them 4 hours apart from accutane.

I had hairloss 1 month after I finished accutane and was diagnosed with TE. I took biotin for about 6 months and the dosage was 5mg, anything below this dose may not be effective. The hairloss eventually stopped but I was told by trichologist it will take 2 years before I recover completely. Hope it helps:)
