I have been prescribed dianette for my skin and I have been taking it for 3 weeks now, but my skin is worse than it was before I started! I have broke out in loads of little spots all over my cheeks, jawline and under my neck.

I know it takes time to work, but is this breakout normal? and if it is how much longer will I continue to breakout before it starts to improve?

Is there anyone who's actually had success on dianette?

I've read a lot about this and from what I can see, it's common. For some people it seems to take 2-3 months to settle down. I didn't break out when I started on it and it was about 6 months before I noticed an improvement in my skin. I've been on it for over a year and I've been pretty happy with it.

Yeah it's normal that you are breaking out. Give it more time. 2 months is about the longest I've heard people purging. Then they clear up good after that. I wish you good luck and have patience!

on my 5th week and the break out is still very much there! it's becoming really frustrating and I just don't see an end :/
