Hey, I was wondering if anyone ever used Sulfacet-R. It's a sulfacetamide sodium lotion. One of the ways it works is that it can cause the skin to peel. I've recently noticed that it made my some parts of my face look scaley, because the skin that would peel off is darker (brownish black) than my skin color. It's kinda annoying. I do use a moisturizer but I guess it doesn't help because it's very mattifying( I have very oily skin). What should I do?

hi, I know this is an old post but I just found it doing some research online .. you mentioned in this post that you used sulfacet r .. I used to use this and it was effective for what I had so I'm thinking of using it again but I don't know if they still prescribe it .. Were you prescribed sulfacet r or a generic version and was it tinted ?
