Well after 8 months im finally done with Roaccutane.
I gotta say at 45 it was bloody awful.
I must say that the lack of support from my derm was outstandingly shocking.
I spent a lot of time on this site and got some good tips.
I for one believe that the medication should have warnings regarding, DEPRESSION, DIGESTION ISSUES INCLUDING CONSTIPATION. WEIGHT CHANGES, in BLACK!
I only managed to do a low dose and i dont regret it and im not worried about a relapse because in the end i had to listen to my body.
Anyway, that's my input.

I thought you had stopped because you had listened to your body, and concluded it was not worth it. At 45 and as a member of this site you should have had plenty of background information to inform your choices; I woundn't expect the pharmaceutical ethos of "profits at all costs" to play into my hands in the form of sufficient warnings on a piece of cardboard.
I think for younger people and even people my age the warnings should still be on the box. I got all my knowledge through experience not my doctor. My Derm just looked at me blankly after I'd been in the ER. I mean come on. I just wouldn't wanna see other kids, adults go throught it. Have u been on accutane?

What on earth are you preaching about? Why would your Derm care if you don't care? He was just trying to squeeze every last dollar out of his education investment. You experienced the sides first hand, stopped...assessed, and went back on the poison because you were evidently listening to your body. You also said that the bitchin about Accutane on this board put you in the E.R. ward with a panic attack. So you want people to warn you, but then you turn around and call that gesture harm inducing. Do you stil want to threaten your Derm with litigation, even though you ultimately didn't listen to your body by going back on the poison?
Have you finished??? Hope so!
I havent threatened anyone with "litigation" they are your words.
I didnt go to ER with a panic attack "You also said that the bitchin about Accutane on this board put you in the E.R. ward with a panic attack".
So best if you leave this topic alone seems you are projecting your anger onto me.
Have a nice life i know i will.
