Ive been on accutane for 11 days, and a few days ago I started breaking out alot, especially around my nose and IN my nose and it's really painful...I also started breaking out on places on my face I havent broke out before.
My question is: Why does these breakouts happen when taking accutane and how long do they last???
From what I've read it varies from person to person, but from personal experience I got my IB quickly, only 6 days in or so. But it disappeared just as quickly and was gone about 4-5 days later. Of course I am only on Day 16 now so whether it will come back or not I don't know, but I was pleased at how quickly it went away (it was pretty disconcerting to think the medicine I was taking to help my skin was making it worse than it was before I started).
