Hey everyone. I'm on 80mg a day and in the middle of week two and my side effects are dry lips, dry skin, and now, dandruff. What can I do to get rid of the dandruff and itching and does it mean that I'm more likely to experience hair loss from the accutane down the road? I have relatively thin hair already.

My advice would be to cut your dose down to the bare minimum or stop taking it altogether - see the hairless threads, for me and others hairloss dryness and scalp/skin issues are an ongoing nightmare long after taking accutane

Pls be careful and listen to your body

I can't tell you anything about the hair loss. However, for about a week during my first month of Accutane I had a dry, flaky, itchy scalp that went away on it's own. Give it a week or two and it might go away. You can always try a dandruff shampoo. :)
