Your face is sensitive because accutane thins the skin while your on it. And while on accutane most people experience the accutane burn. It's not permanent except in certain cases. It should fade once your off :)

I only seem to go red in the face after I wash and moisturise, it goes away after 15-20 minutes though, guess I'm just lucky..

Yeah I know what you mean! Sometimes my face

Looks pretty pale, and other times

I catch a glimpse of myself in a mirror and think wtf? How did it get so red? Lol. It's ok because I know it's the tane burn and it'll be gone after

This treatment. I think I read somewhere that if your dosage is too high for you it could last after?? But Im not too sure, I'm only on 40mg

Hey!!! Im 48 days on 20mg Accutane per day and Iv experienced the reddness too. But thankfully its not constant. Its usually whenever I wash my face and especially when I wash off my sunscreen.

My face was really red when I was on it too. It stopped after I was done. The second time I took it, my face didn't get red at all, I believe it was from all the water I was drinking. You might want to try and drink as much water as possible.

Isotretinoin makes the skin more sensitive, so the redness is not atypical. These are my tips: don't scrub, don't use hot water, always moisturize right after cleansing, and avoid too much sun exposure.
