I have been using Sodium Sulfacetamide Sulfur cleansing pads for quite a while and love them. Prascion brand is now discontinued and my pharmacy says the only brand they can get is uncovered by my insurance. I did not get the brand name but will call them tomorrow to find out. My insurance company says that these pads are still in their formulary and I should be able to get them. I am so confused. I went to my derm last week and she didnt even know that

Prascion was discontinued( and since it was disc last summer I think she should have known this). I did talk to one of the pharmacy staff about using a sulfur wash instead and they said that was not even available. UGH. Has anyone received this medicine recently? I am in New England. I find it hard to believe that this medicine will be unavailable for long. Some manufacturer has to be making this. At least I hope so.

The wash is still available under different names. You will have to do some searching to find out what the names are now.

There was recently a version called Rosula. Another called Zetacet.

Bleph-10, Cetamide.
