Accutane In A Low Dose.

Hi.

Desribed in my earlier tread ,I have been on three full Accutane treatments.

To this day, I still battle bad skin, which still effects my overall "happiness" quite a lot.

A full accutane treatment dosen't get me clean skin. My bad skin always comes back.

So I have thought about going back on a very low dose Accutane treatment to keep my skin clean. Something like 10mg per day or even lower.

My question is: How worry should I be about the sideeffects (both psychical and physical) taking a very low dose?

Thanks,

Daniel

i believe low dose treatments are known to have lower side effects, so it might be some use to you.

Low doses also have very high efficacy, with side effects being less common, but the courses take longer. I'd talk with a dermatologist about how to hit an appropriate cumulative dose, which is what counts in terms of preventing acne relapse.

My derm has me on low dose Roaccutane.

Ive been on the full dose 20 years ago and i have to say being older the side effects are pretty severe.

Id rather get it over and done with to be honest but i dont have Acne/Vulgaris, Acne/Rosacea.

So the Derms get you on a lower dose to reduce the side effects.

Im sorry they cant be avoided well not in my case.

Get it over and done with.

And move on, my 5 cents worth.
