Hello all,
I'm new! I'm finishing up my first week on Accutane, and had a couple questions.
So far my only symptoms are dry lips and my skin is starting to peel (although I know this is JUST the beginning). How long does the skin peeling typically last? Does it happen just in the beginning? Does it normally happen the entire time you're on it? Or does it go in cycles?
Obviously everyone will react differently, I'm just curious if this is something that will probably last the entire time or if it's just a passing side effect. I'm committed either way 
Just FYI, I'm using cetaphil face wash, and moisturizer. Also using aquaphor ointment for the peeling, and aquaphor lip balm. Drinking lots of water!
probably will peel the whole time lol
my skin was flakey the whole way through but i found an amazing lotion that pretty much got rid of it. its Derma E Psorzema cream but anyways get ready for peeling, flaking skin every day. You just gotta learn to put up with it but trust me using that lotion really gets rid of most of it, but its kinda hard to find :l
Hey! Iv just finished 4 weeks on Accutane. My skin has been dry from when I started.. but i noticed that in the past couple of days my dryness has reduced considerably.. I don't know if i should be happy or sad about it.. Im getting a little anxious that because my skin is not dry the drug is not working anymore! Has anyone experienced this?
