I was wondering what does she mean it will not work? Does antibiotics only work for certain type of acne? I have inflamed moderate to severe acne.... All she gave me was some rentin-a.. But I would have liked some antibiotics to control my initial break out from the retin-a.. Maybe I should check out another doctor? Does she know what she is doing?
hmm.. thats weird since antibiotics are usually one of the first things derms prescribe. I think inflamed acne would benefit a lot from antibiotics such as minocycline since they have anti inflamitory properties. Maybe you could go to a different doc. Just make sure you take a good probiotic as well
