I've been reading about antibiotics and they don't sound like a very good treatment plan, but I was wondering if they would be useful to take for 2 weeks or so during the initial breakout you get with retinoids. I'm currently suffering through the initial breakout and it would be nice to ease that on a short term use of tetracycline. I'm worried it may make my acne worse when I discontinue use of the antibiotic, but otherwise I think it sounds like a solid idea and only use it for a few weeks.
