Soybean oil for one

Check out these links and match the ingredients before you buy something. I had no idea how much shit is in alot of the everyday products i've used. Many may have contributed to the sorry state of my skin today.

Have you tried this cleanser? http://www.walgreens...6103709-product

Thanks! Ingredients don't look too bad but witch hazel tends to dry me out and it is one of the main ingredients in this.

If i do start accutane, i'll need something very basic that won't irritate my already irritated skin

The best non-irritant cleanser I can find is Dan's cleanser. It doesn't irritate my face at all and the price is attractive. As for a moisturizer I just take jojoba oil and generously spread it all over my face. It's non-comodogenic and is highly moisturizing. Another option is pure aloe vera. Some say it has highly mooisturizing properties others say it dries out the skin really bad. I'm nearly on week 3 of accutane. In actuality, the dryness of accutane isn't that bad, well for me, although it will probably get much worse in the months to come.

cetaphil cleanser and cerave moisturizer is my favorite. cetaphil is very light and doesn't even wash off the moisterizer but it's not drying and it says cleanser so it better be cleansing something... cerave is very light and quick absorb too. I've been using it for one month on accutane.

I agree. I am on month 3 of Accutane and I am using both of those products. I use the CereVe moisturizing cream at night (in the tub). It's thicker than the lotion (obviously) but a little goes a long way and lasts a long time. I use Cetaphil spf moisturizer during the day if I'm going to be outside. I am not NEARLY as dry as I thought I would be either. I was much flakier and dryer when I was on Ziana.

You will find a lot of people on Accutane use CereVe and Cetaphil. They are both acknowledged as being non comodogenic and very gentle. Good for all skin types. I will continue to use them even after my treatment.

Good luck
