I'm interested in whether RAM 0.04% is stronger than the regular Retin-A at 0.025%? I'm still breaking out after being on the 0.025% gel for over a year so I would like to increase the strength. Unfortunately the 0.05% doesn't come in gel form and I would rather not use the cream because of the Isopropyl Myristate. It also comes in liquid form but I'm not sure how readily available that is.

I know technically 0.04% is a larger number than 0.025%, but since the RAM releases over time unlike the regular Retin-A then taking that into consideration perhaps the strengths are similar? Should I go for the 0.1% Retin-A Micro instead?

The only difference between Retin A and Retin A Micro is that the micro is time-released. This is good for people with sensitive skin who need a stronger dose but who can't handle it all at once. The strength is still determined by the percentage. RAM 0.04 is stronger than Retin A 0.25%
