I asked my derm that and she said the more severe the acne the worse the IB will be which sucks cuz I just got upped from 20 to 40 and got about 6-7 new zits in like 3 days , but everybody is different you might not get one.

So you get IB from low dosage, upped dosage and another IB?? Far out that sucks

Well, my derm told me to take 20mgs for my first two weeks and then switch to 40mgs after that. When I jumped from 20 to 40 I got a massive breakout. But that was a month ago, and I have been on the medication for about 45ish days and I have just been upped again to 60mg. I would really like to know if anyone has experienced another breakout from an upped dosage (even well into month 2) as well.

I will let you know if I break out on my new dose. So far I have had a couple new actives since Monday when I was upped, but nothing too unusual.

I was on 40 mg for 5 months then 60 mg for my 6 month and it did make me break out again, just when my skin was clear for a few weeks and looking the best it has looked in a long time.
