I have PCOS, for bout 11 years now. I have been on accutane 3 months...sadly my horrible acne is still the same. I will stay on it for about 3 more months. This is my last resort....pray for me. I hope is starts to work...I am tired of hiding my skin and body because of this acne....as I get older it gets worse....let me know how it goes....I will keep u updated.

Lord, please let accutane work for PCOSgirl, let it heal her skin completely if it hasn't already. Please encourage her as I know how hard it can be going through acne. Send people who can be her friend and care for her too while she's going through her course of accutane.

Hello Tanya. I know it's been years since this post but I am in the exact same place you were. I'm having to make the difficult decision to put off having a baby in order to treat my acne. I am scheduled to go on accutane in 2 weeks. The goal is that the accutane will give me clear skin without having to rely on BC. I have clear skin with BC but can't take it obviously when trying to conceive. Hoping accutane will provide long-term results. I'm curious how everything worked out with you? Did the accutane work wonders? Do you have a baby?
