A few days ago a small zit between my temple and eye evolved into a monstrous knot. It's hard and round (a out the size od a dime or penny), but the swelling has spread to my eye (in the morning ings, my upper eye lid is puffy, but under my eye remains puffy and sometimes bruised). The sore is HARD and very painful, red, and a whitish scabby crater thing on top.
I've put alcohol, moisturizer, generic acne wash, heat, ice... but it doesn't seem to phase it.
But itt HURTS. It may be infected (I don't know-- I've never had ANYTHING like this!)
Do I need to go to an urgent care or a dermatologist? Can a doctor help?
What should I do?
