Hi all,
I am almost 35 years old and really need help please !!
A little history; I had tons of acne as a teenager, used creams etc.. Then at 24, I was diagnosed with rosacea after a huge breakout on my nose. Did laser treatment, started accutane, and metrojel for many years. My nose and cheeks have been pretty decent ever since. I actually stopped accutane many years ago and another antibiotic the doc put me on as I got ulcerative colitis and read there may be a link, but continued with the metrojel. I was also told I have seborrheic dermatitis on my beard area and given both cortisone and antifungal creams. My beard area gets irritated here and there but is manageable.
This is my issue >> About 8 weeks ago, I started getting these small bumps on my forehead (see most recent pics attached). Usually they are clear and only skin color tiny bumps, although more recently I broke out on the side temple area and it seems much more aggravated.
They move around my forehead sometimes, seem somewhat better in the morning, worse at night.
It was getting a little better 2 weeks ago, then got much worse again.
I had gotten them over the past year but they usually went away after a week or so... Not this time...
I went to one skin doctor who told me its seborrheic dermatitis and gave me clindoxyl gel and told me to wash with spectrojel and cold water. Didnt help...
I went to another skin doctor who said its my rosacea that spread to my forehead and told me to use metrojel + 2-5% BP soap and take anti biotics (I wont take anti biotics again) and the metrojel unfortunately didnt help either..
I am at a loss and dont know what it could be or what to do..
Just to recap, I tried clindoxyl, tried metrojel, tried nizoral, tried cortisone cream, various soaps, nothing seems to be working...
Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated
Thanks so much
