Hi everyone!

I I just finished my first week on Accutane! A little backstory, I have cystic acne I have tried EVERYTHING under the sun. Sulfamethadole worked for a while but not anymore. Anyway, I am on 30mg twice a day.

Syptoms I have experienced:
headaches
dry lips
OILY SKIN?!?!? WHY?!?
Fatigue

can someone explain to me why my skin would be oily?!

Hi,

I have the same symptoms as you (but I'm also on day 50 of Accutane) also paired up with joint pains.

I say give it another week and see if your skin is still oily. If so, call your doctor and ask why this is happening. Could be a variety of reasons. If there's one thing I learned about this drug, it's really complicated and causes a wide range of experiences for everyone included.
