Day 101
Well face is still kinda crappy. Still waiting for it to clear after the breakout a few weeks ago. Some really deep ones that won't go away..
Also my lips are worse than ever!! I could deal with them for the past few months but now they aren't good. 
still continuing with the aquaphor. Every 30 minutes pretty much.. This stuff is amazing. 
I know I have really good lotion.. And I recommend it to ANYONE going on acctuane ( cerave lotion in the round tub) because when I don't apply it for a day or if I miss one application out of the two daily, I start to get dry. Sometimes really dry. And I am sooooo happy I chose this lotion!
Anyways I'm hoping and praying for no new breakouts and the current one to clear asap. 2 and a half months left!!! Yippee

Day 128
So it's been a while since I posted. Face cleared up since last break out but I may have had a few drinks this weekend so im expecting a new breakout soon... I have about 2 half way healed pimples right now. And about 6-7 red spots from previous breakout. I'm starting week 2 of month 5, so I'm hoping I don't get anything crazy anymore.
Sometimes I feel like I should have been on 80mg... Like maybe Im not where I should be this far into the treatment. I've read a lot of blogs and most people seem to be clear by now.
I'm not really complaining!! As 2 pimples is amazing!!! And my skin is so soft. I'm so happy I went on Accutane. the only side effect I really have left is my crazy ass dry lips. They are so gross!! Can't wait until that's over.
Honestly, it's weird to say but.. I will be kind of sad when it's over. Don't get me wrong I want it to be over so bad!! But there are a few really good positive things about accutane... My hair has never been so perfect. My scalp has healed itself after years of terrible agonizing issues.. And pimples heal so quickly!
But all in all, I am SO excited to be clear!! one and three quarters of a month left

Day 135
1.5 months left. Wahoooooo!!!! I posted a week ago about having 2 pimples that were just about healed.. They were all I had for about a week. I tbought it was over and I was on the road to recovery. Wrong again.
Two pimples popped up today. Not small ones either. Argh. Is this rare??? Are people still getting deep pimples halfway through month 5?! Im annoyed.
Maybe I should stay on accutane an extra month? Up my dose? I don't know. My Dr appt is tomorrow. We will discuss then.
Also, my lips are terrible. Awful. Blech.
Back pain still bad. Has been since day one. Also nose is just one big scab. Has been for about two months now. But these are my only 3 symptoms. Could call myself lucky.

With most blogs I've read, people start to really clear month 4-5, so being halfway through month 5 im a little worried but still very hopeful. The Dr said we will just wait to see what happens, if I have to prolong it, I will.
The nose thing sucks. I don't really have dry skin, except on my hand, I developed exzema, but the inside of my nose is pretty bad! Also been using aquaphor for it. Aquaphor is my saviour!

Is it just me, or am I the only one who is worried to go off Accutane? Like if I stop taking it, it will all just come flooding back?
I understand it continues working long after you stop. But I'm just really hoping I'm not one of those people who needs to do a second round.
In other news! I haven't had a pimple in a few weeks! All that's left is hyperpigmentation, (and now these awful scabs from supposedly scratching my face In my sleep the other day, what the hell?!)
Anyone have any tips for how they've cleared up the red marks from acne, post accutane? I've read exfoliation should help. And vitamin e oil? If I'm remembering right?
My lips are slowly getting better. Not nearly as bad as last month. nose still a bit dry inside but that's about it.
Oh! I'm confessing that I drank wine last night. Quite a bit. Then I woke up with a big exzema flare up just covering my arms! Anyone have that happen to them? It burned and looked so awful. It's calmed down tonight but still there. Annoying.
Anywho, such little time left!!! My hope is this blog will help a few people along their journeys

4/17 will be 5 mnths for me
I havent had a LARGE break out in a while but I havent gone more than maybe 3-4 days max without getting a new small red bump
just when i hit the 3-4 day mark and think Ive made it to the other side I get a new one than follows a few days of daily new red bumps
not huge but at this point,...Im getting very frustrated

You will have completed 5 months or be in your 5th month? I completely stopped getting the red bumps my first week in month 6 so don't fret!!

Up popped a pimple this morning :/ :/ so pissed about that. It's been weeks since I've had any
Also my lips are probably worse today than they have ever been on the whole course! They look like a bad sunburn, just peeling off and around my lips onto my face. Oh god it's embarrassing.
Pushing through with just over two weeks left!!!
Does anyone have any advice post accutane? I'm just wondering about the dryness... Does it go away slowly, or do you experience dryness for s long time after you've stopped taking it?! I can't deal with this lip dryness much longer...

I honestly can't believe its been 6 months. Fastest 6 months ever!
I'm so excited to share with all of you accutaners how clear and soft my skin is
And do not fret!!!! My skin only cleared RIGHT up within the last few weeks of treatment. Do not feel down if you are still getting pimples in month 3,4,5! I even had a pimple a few days ago. Within my last 3 weeks.
BUT HOW AWESOME IS CLEAR SKIN. Without really realizing, my mood, confidence and attitude are much more positive being in public. I am so happy I did this. And I will not be down if I had to do it again. Im so excited for everyone to get to this point. yes there are some really shitty negatives about this med but for most, completely worth it!
I do still have about... 8ish red marks, hyperpigmentation, that are ever so slowly fading. Can't wait to start exfoliating, and doing masks again. AND TANNING to get ready for summer I am so white!! Haha thanks accutane. And supporters.

Day 175 of 181
Eeeeeeeee!
This is really exciting. My last week.
It's weird. I keep waking up and looking in the mirror expecting to be grossed out by my face lol but nope. Acne free. changed my life.
I spent a lot of hours in the sun last week. I got a pretty bad burn... Even with some sunscreen. I'm expecting it to be like this for the rest of the summer as the Accutane will still be in my system. I have learned!! Apply sunscreen; lots and all the time.
Also, it's baseball season. And I have been getting quite terrible muscle/joint pain from accutane, since day one. As I work out a lot and am very active, I am sore A LOT. so within the first week of ball, I strained my tricep, pulled both quads and strained my rotator cuff. Holy fucking ouch. I'm doing everything I can to heal but It's not doing much. Can't really use my shoulder too much... Depressing. Can't wait for that to be over..
Also yay my lips are pretty much better *knocks on wood* still having to apply aquaphor every 30 minutes but they are much better
If anyone has any questions for me, shoot!!!!!

I haven't had a pimple in a couple weeks... But on the last day, TODAY, I just popped a pimple which is now a bruise. Sweet. NOT GOING TO GET ME DOWN

The pimple i just popped, just to let you know, had been there for about a month. Underground. Decided to come up today. The day that I took my last pill.
So anyone who is doubtful about becoming perfectly clear from accutane, don't fret, take my advice, it continues to work and even on the last day, you can have a pimple. other than this now bruised ex-pimple, completely clear thanks accutane, good knowin' ya! Glad to be over!
