I may need to look into that as accutane is doing a number on me. What were your side effects on Spiro?

I had to discontinue spiro because of side effects. I had extreme fatigue, dry mouth, and hair loss. Most people do not experience any more side effects than increased urination, though. Spiro was great for my acne. Cleared me completely.

Update: Sometimes no news is not good news. I am officially off accutane. I was taken to the ER today with sharp pains in the stomach (not sure if its accutane related or not) and when they did my blood work, my liver enzymes were in the 400 and 500's up from normal range. My glucose was also up 20 points. I think it's safe to say my body will not tolerate this drug anymore.

I am sad, frustrated, scared and the list goes on and on but clearly this is a sign from up above that this door was meant to stay shut. Good Luck to everyone continuing on their journey.

I see my derm on Oct 16th so we'll see we decide to do (topicals, lasers, other means)

In the meantime, i will be taking a break from logging on the org as it has been mentally frustrating for me.
