Hi all.. Basically I've been prescribed 30mg a day on istrogen or wateva it's called lol I'm on day 7 an I hate it already haha..

I'm not having many side affects so far in all honesty but know they will come.. I can feel my lips are gonna take a beating very soon lol so was wondering what lip balms or whatever people would suggest to me which would be best to use

Also I've been using the moistureiser that the hospital prescribed me I think it's called hydrosone or Sumat like that but I have a feeling it will make my spots worse tbh but I'm to scared to find another one incase that makes it worse

Any feedback would be great

I'm in the UK, I've found Burt's Bees lip balms to be the best thing ever for your lips (and believe me, I've tried EVERYTHING). You can buy it from Boots (or most other chemists I would imagine).

Palmer's Cocoa Butter (the solid formula) is what I use to moisturise my face and it also makes your skin really soft (I bought this from boots too).

I also use Vaseline to moisturise the inside of my nose (I apply it with a cotton bud) which sounds gross but has become necessary. I used Vaseline non stop during the beginning of my course but it doesn't compare to Burt's Bees. Another good thing for your lips if Blistex Lip Relief (aromatic ammonia solution) or something along those lines. I don't use it when I'm out because it's white and takes a while to soak in but I use it twice a day. It really helps if I use it before I go to bed, or my lips dry out in the night and I wake up with bleeding lips.

Take a look at my log, it might help prepare you for the load of fun you've got coming your way... I'm joking, I'm sure you'll be fine smile.png

use something like vasoline at night... and when they start getting real bad, you'll want to put some desonide or cortisone on them from time to time.
