Hey everyone,

I have light acne, mostly post inflammination now. I'm meeting a dermatologist for the first time on Wens and my doctor tells me that he'll probably put me on accutane. I know it's bizarre, but I hate my skin (even though it is a lot better). I hate the pinkness of it. Anyhow, this is my accutane journey! Stay tuned :)

A typical 4-6 month course on Accutane will leave your skin red (hyperpigmentation) for up to a couple of years off the course. Typically the hyperpigmentation will cease or fade within 6 months. Honestly, if your annoyed about the pinkness of your cheeks I don't think Accutane is going to solve that. Accutane makes your skin much more sensitive.

Best of luck with whatever you decide.
