Day 11?
i think im on day 11. so 3 pimples now. one is still not healing. it has been bleeding for a week or so now....... so frustrating. skin is not dry at all but i use moistruizer and tonee everyday after i wash my face so thats probably why. my lips are drier than usual but not bad at all. i didnt put anyting on for 5 hours today and it was fine.
face is kind of red though. No other side effects at all

so i dont know if it is IB because actually I only have about 3 pimples on my face right now. maybe the worst hasnt come...
but i have one pimple that is really frustrating me. it has been 3 weeks and now its down to flat and healing but... it is still bleeding!
after 3 weeks it still bleeding is really frustrating...does accutane make healing slower?
my lips are starting to dry up but only a little bit. not too bad .
feeling tired..too tired to run but not super bad either.
so far so good! well see
yeah, accutane will make your healing ability slower, but thats only during the course of treatment, make sure you dont get hurt, try to be patient on the bleeding part, if it doesnt heal after few more days...then go see your derm....i guess i am replying late....looks like you are on day 11 now, did the bleeding stop?....

hey ya it is still bleeding a little. so annnoying. i hear that you are drying up real bad. im sorry about that. but i feel like that excessive drying means accutane is working. it freaks me out that nothing is really happening to me. it feels like its not really working. also a few pimples have popped up since my accutane started but i feel like they go down pretty fast? so maybe its like the ones before accutane heal slower but if they come out during accutane they heal faster??? no clue.
I am excited about new york. i dont know what will happen. Ill still probably drink a lot haha. I am goign to stay with a freind though. I feel kind of self conscious about taking my pills in front of her...

i am only drying up real bad on my lips, my face is getting drier like the perfect amount of oil, but not too dry....it will get super dry in a few days....dont worry....its gonna dry up for you too....for some people it takes a little longer.....lips are the first one to dry, so when you notice that getting chapped/dry/cracked, then it will dry up your face within a few days from that point on.....try not to worry too much about the healing....if you cannot stop thinking about it, then go see your derm, he/she might help you feel better....sometimes i have a phone meeting with my derm, even though he pretty much says the same stuff as the forums, i feel little better coming from him....have a blast at NYC....we live only once....
Day 13
a big pimple on right side. 3 small pimples on left. dry lips. face not so dry.
im getting ready for work and i put make up on. which usually makes me feel good about my skin since it covers most of it up. but then i went to the bathroom with the bright light and looked at my skin at a specific angle and... i see all the imperfections .all the uneveness. I have a lot of boxcar scars. it makes me so sad because I know how hard it is to get rid of those scars. im feeling such low self-esteem right now. why cant i have flawless skin.
Day 15
I think maybe my IB is starting? because I just grew a cystic pimple on my right cheek and another one coming out below my lip on my chin . right before I have to go to new york too. so frustrated. I couldnt even go out tonight even though I wanted to because my skin was breaking out so bad and I didnt want to put make up on to irritate it more. UGHHH fast forward to month 4 already plzzz

Day 17
Face is red. I feel like my pimples r all trying to come out. My face is starting to hurt when I put pimple cream on to heal. But I can't not put anything on cuz I want them to go away !for once. I would like clear skin on vacationm also my lip is getting scary dry to a point where I feel like the chapstick and my dry skin is literally mushing together. If anyone knows what I mean.

Hey! Im doing fine. I finished the first month and is now on second month. Havent had any breakouts which is great! skin isnt so dry because i have been good with moistruizing. Lips super dry and eyes start drying up but its worth it!!
Now its just the scars that bother me : (
