Ok so i've always had breakouts on my neck/jawline but they've never been this bad before. It seems like I can keep the acne on my face somewhat under control but my neck won't budge. As for treatments, I've been using olive oil to take off my makeup and its helped my face a lot and I use the aztec clay mask with apple cider vinegar once a week and the mint julep mask as a spot treatment. For makeup I use the maybelline dream pure bb cream with 2% salicylic acid and that's helped my face as well too but not my neck ( I always bring my makeup down to my neck) . The only thing thats ever really helped for my neck was epiduo and Ive gone on it about 2 or 3 times already and Im not sure if it would work another time. Also I dont really care for the initial breakouts and dry flaky skin it gives me :/ Another thing is there's no dermatologist where I live (small town) so I have to visit a regular doctor and I dont really feel comfortable with that. I feel like im being judged and its embarrassing.... So if anyone can give me some suggestions I'd really appreciate it and no rude comments please :/

I have acne prone skin ever since I hit puberty and it was controlled for a short while. When I started working out regulary, I've noticed cystic acne growing more particularly on my neck and jaw. At first, It really didnt bother me. I had it checked to my derma and she told me that she cant understand what's causing it because i was starting to clear up. My derma said that the neck/jaw is the hardest to treat and you cant use the same products on the face because our neck is very sensitive. She prescribed Tetralysal for two weeks but it only worsened my acne :'( Then she made me try Papulex Oil Cream but it didn't do anything. So i switched to another derma because It was affecting my self-esteem greatly. She's a celebrity derma here in the Philippines. At first I was hesistant because it's so freaking expensive but I was willing to give it a try. Having good skin is an investment. I went to my new derma last week and she prescribed me new creams and gels and i should do glycolic peeling for my face and neck every 2 weeks. She said having oily face wil harbor more bacteria so she wants me to do peeling more often and use their acne kit. And I'm banned from using moisturizer ever again and I should invest more on having good skin instead of buying expensive makeups. Lol. Right after my checkup,i did glycolic peeling and it hurted a lot especially in the neck area. I really have high pain tolerance but it feels like I've been butchered alive. Ive tried having facials before but it was probably the worse facial ive ever been to. Lol. I dont know if it was to hurt that way but the doctor assuremed me that it's suppose to hurt the first time. Maybe next time, I will drink pain reliever 30 minutes before the procedure so it wont hurt that bad. Lol . So for the past three days, i havent been using any foundation on my face. It's so hard to blend my foundation without using any moisturizer. And the sunblock that im using is gel type so it will make flaky if ever i put any foundation. My only problem is that I'm so red like a rotten tomato. Ive asked some of my coworkers if theyve noticed anything on my face and most commented that i just look pinkish. They were shocked that I didnt put any foundation because they dont see any difference. I guess dabbing all those foundation on my face was useless. Lol. I must say that my face is starting to glow and my neck is starting to clear up but i still have a few stubborn cystic acne. This Friday will go to my derma for a followup check and I'll get another glycolic peeling. I hope she wont let me use the expensive creams because I dont think i can afford it anymore. Hahaha. :/
