Hey everyone... I'm a 27 year old young lady suffering from back acne scars since 13. I'm feeling very frustrated and desperate to get rid of this once and for all. I have light brown skin and my acne on the back has left a ton of dark spots. I only have one or two raised scars which I'm not concerned about, but the rest are flat but darker in colour. I really want to get rid of this because I want to wear tank tops. I want to be able to wear a dress without wearing something on top to cover my back. I want to be able to swim at the beach without wearing a lame t shirt.
I'm seriously depressed over this. I always envy those who have nice perfect backs, while I have this disgusting acne scar filled back. I'm going to get married in two years, and I want to wear a dress that shows my back. I don't want to cover up. I'm really tired of covering up... :/
Is there any way to get rid of these dark spots on my back???? Any success stories at all? I've been googling like a mad man searching for a success story, but no luck, which makes me feel completely hopeless.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't break out on my back that much any more. It's just the damn scars that is ruining my self esteem ;/
You could try to exfoliate your skin on your back and then use a cream afterwards. Its also good to prevent further breakouts.
Have you considered laser? This could also be a suggestion for scars.
I've been exfoliating and using a peel this past week and applied tea tree lotion afterwards. I will keep trying for the next few months and see how it goes. If it works I will definitely post it on here. I have considered laser but only as a last resort as it's really pricey. Thanks for your input ๐
my acne scarring is a mix of dark and white spots which is even more depressing. luckily i've found this forum today and learned that other people do have them too and it's not vetiligo. but my white spots are probably untreatable, yet i know one thing that might help with red/pink/blue/dark scarring but I don't know whether you have that thing for sale in your place. in Russia we call it BADYAGA powder, it costs like one buck but works perfectly for 90% of people. you have to use it with hydrogen peroxide on scars and after a few procedures they will eventually fade out and go away. i would highly recommend this thing to anyone who hasn't tried yet
