Hey I'm a 24 year old male. A couple of days ago I notice a small slightly tender red spot on my hip/groin area. Over the past several days it became more raised, red, and tender. I have not messed with it any because I know doing so can spread it and make it scar. I have had bumps like these before and it happens maybe once or twice a year and always in my pubic area. I have had one on my upper/inner thight/groin area last year and it was the same type of bump. It left a scar of darker discoloration that is still visible today. Do you guys know what these red bumps are? What should I do to make it smaller and prevent it from scarring.
