I started having acne some months ago caused by the contraceptive pills I was taking. I already stopped the pills but the acne didn't cure, so I still have acne. I also noticed that I am starting to develop hirsutism (hair on my face). I have been doing some internet research on hormones and herbal supplements to regulate your hormones, and I found that Saw Palmetto is a herbal supplement that can reduce androgen levels in woman and thus help with acne and hirsutism. I have read some reviews on Saw Palmetto and some people say that it's amazing and it works very well for acne, but other people say that it's horrible and it make them to break out even more. What do you think? Do you have any experience with Saw Palmetto? I would like to know a little bit more about it before taking the risk.
