I have a tube of persa gel 5 and persa gel 10, sitting with too many other treatments. What I've found is that persa gel does NOT make acne worse for me. This stuff is very strong and all you need is verrrrrrrrrrrrry little persa gel 10 for it to work. I strongly suggest visiting your board certified dermatologist or considering other options. But that's just me - never been a fan of BP.
