I've struggled with hormonal cystic acne for 2 years....I'm on 4th month of birth control and I eat cleaner and that has done wonders for my skin but I still break out bad around my period time. I had like 5 pimples pop up this go around and I tried a new thing and I'm totally blown away right now. This is my 4th night applying desitin all over my face before bed and my face is clear. I do apply argan oil after cleansing and before the cream bc oil goes deep into pores and I wanted the oil to take desitin with it bc I wanted the zinc oxide that desitin has to get deep in pores. It's not even a week and my face is looking smooth as baby's butt and I'm on my period....crazy right??? I got the purple bottle, maximum strength bc it has more zinc oxide in it and I'm overly satisfied with results.....try it u may love it too
