Ok, so a little background on me. I've had acne since the 4th grade...I've always had problems with oily skin. Things really took a turn for the worse in high school, I started developing cyst everywhere...I had to get on accutane.

After accutane, I was clear. Only for a few months. Then the oil and acne came back...I was devastated. Since then I've been on everything. Tetracycline, retina A, pro-active, clearasil, panoxyl, stridex, oxy, capasin, african soap, smoothbeam, drinking gallons of water each day, taking B5(can't believe I took 20 pills a day smh), Vitamin A liquid, vitamin a pills, beta carotene, baking powder, milk of magnesia, tee trea oil, the list goes on and on and on.

For the past 10 years, I've been able to maintain a decent complexion with st ives apricot scrub + the regimen benzoyl peroxide. I would never be 100% clear, I would always have a few bumps and dark marks hear and there. I was able to live with it. I was too exhausted from fighting acne full force my whole life(i'm 37 now, so I've been fighting acne for almost 30 years).

Anyway, one product that I always loved using was the Noxema cream. It makes my skin feel so refreshed and it gives it a matte like look, which I liked because my skin is so oily. Unfortunately the noxema cream didn't do much for my acne. So one day last year, I decided to buy some Noxema Utimate Clear Anti Blemish pads, just as a way to have my skin feel good, like the noxema cream does. I may have used it once or twice and stopped using it. I thought meh, I've been there and done that with acne pads, they never worked for me.

For some reason, early this year, I had one of the worst breakouts of my life. I was so depressed...How am I almost 40 years old and still dealing with this sh$t! Anyway, for some reason, I still had those noxema pads around and for some reason I tried them again(almost a year had passed since the last time I used them). After about a week, skin started to clear up, even the dark spots(I usually use bio oil to treat those). I was i shock! Fast forward 3-4 months later and my skin is free from all acne. I can literally count on one hand how many dark spots are left and they're fading away.

I'll be damned. I went through hell and back, giving acne everything I had, seeing dermatologist left and right, buying accutane on the black market, paying tons of $, staying up on acne.org trying everything and all I had to do was use some noxema pads from walgreens? Are you kidding me??!?! Part of me is kind of sad that I didn't find this out in my 20's when my confidence was in shambles, but hey, like they say, better late than never! The noxema pads even help out with razor bumps.

I still use Dan's BP, I think it is the final knockout blow to the acne. All my regimen is now is, st ives salycic acid apricot scrub, noxema pads and dans bp. I'm about 95% clear right now, just waiting for a few spots to fade. But yeah, this is unbelievable. The thing I don't get is the pads never worked for me(oxy, stridex, etc) I wonder why the noxema pads do? Either way I'mclear now, so I could care less. I just wanted to get the word out there for the rest of you acne sufferers. I hope this works for someone else. Whatever you do, keep fighting, and don't let acne win! Try everything, because you never know what will work!
