CETAPHIL GONE BAD?

OMG I am freaking out. I just washed my face using an old half-empty bottle of cetaphil gentle skin cleanser that had been sitting around since July. I didn't think the stuff could go bad in a few months. As soon as I rubbed in on my face I noticed smelled funny and felt weird. I rinsed it off with water and I am hoping for the best. I am very scared of what might happen to my face. Does anyone have experience with this? HELP :(

Oh no! Don't panic :) I don't think anything will happen to your face.

It definitely shouldn't have gone bad that quickly, but it might have so.. my general rule is: if a product changes in smell, color, consistency or in any other way, don't use it again. I'd buy a new one.
