Im a guy in mid 20s who started to have pimples from time to time a couple of years. Cant afford a doctor right now but what are some effective OTC medicines or face washes or creams I can use to atleast make these annoying red pimples invisible if not make them effectively go away forever? I have tried the following brands so far cleannclear, neutrogena, loreal men and jacklack and the result is that yes they go away for a couple of weeks but leav spots/marks to come back again whenever that 'period' for them to turn back on is and then they leave another ugly mark. getting sick of this!! When I apply some anti pimple products, theyre uncle control for a bit, not completely gone, but then they spur back on again eventually.

need some strong products that can effectively treat these red pimples.thanks!

Most OTC products use Salicylic acid or Benzoyl Peroxide actives. Sounds like you've tried a few of those. You could have a look at epiologyskincare.com which offers a chlorhexidine wash for cleansing and reducing acne bacteria and a cream with some bioactive proteins that works on the spots to reduce redness....could be worth a try before moving on to oral prescription meds.

I've never had much luck with spot treatments. By the time you see it its really too late and damage like limitation is all you can really hope for. I use ibubrofen gel to take the swelling down which helps a lot.
