Hi everyone.
My acne isn't that bad really. I'm currently on lymecycline though as well as differin. My skin has improved tremendously in terms of break outs (I think it's mainly the antibiotics at have helped) but the differin gel has literally made me bright red and it's horrible. I've stopped it now and haven't applied it for 3 days. Does anyone have any idea how long it'll be before this horrible redness goes??

Your skin needs to acclimate. If you want to continue using differin, try using it once every 2 days for 1-2 weeks, then every other day for 1-2 weeks, then every day. That should help reduce the incidence of redness. Also, of course, wear sunscreen. Retinoids make your skin sensitive to the sun, even if you apply it at night.
