Ive been using proactiv plus for about 4 weeks and I havent really seen any major improvements. I have pretty severe acne on my cheeks but I have even more scars so its going to take longer for me to clear up than others that only have "here and there" acne so that really sucks for me lol. But I see a lot of people who say it doesnt work on severe acne but I think it will work for me , its just gonna take about 2 or 3 months because of the degree of my acne.

I know what you probably have heard about proactiv plus or just proactiv alone, now I can't really speak on behalf of the Regular proactiv, however I can speak on behalf of proactiv plus! I suffer from hormonal acne. I get these tiny pimples and bumps on my cheeks, t-zone, and they recently started to appear on my chin. It's the type of acne that no matter how much make up you wear or how hard you try to cover it, it looks TERRIBLE under any type of bright lighting (I.e. The sun). I got to the point where I was embarrassed to even go out in public. Until I discovers proactiv plus. I must say that it has been great to me so far! I've only been using it for about a week now and I already notice a difference. The emergency blemish relief is a gift sent from the heavens above!!!!!!!!!! I had this throbbing red pimple that was so painful, I put some of the EBR on it and let it sit over night and by the next morning it had tightened up and didn't hurt at all! On another note I am also on birth control to serve as a hormone pill so that could also have something to do with my skin clearing. But I would still say that proactiv plus has a lot to do with it. It's a product where it gets worse before it gets better. People always say "proactiv made their skin burn and made it red etc" but it CLEARLY states that that could possibly be a side effect on every bottle and even on the flyer! It's the medicine and benzoyl peroxide deep cleaning your skin and clearing out all the dirt and bacteria. But over all I love the product, so far so good! Good luck!
