Hey guys, so I have been using proactiv for a couple of years now, and recently I switched to the extra strength treatment. Bad idea as it has 7% BP and has caused drying of skin. Just a few days ago, I noticed my skin was getting really flaky and dry and started peeling. A lot of it has peeled off and there is white skin around it. I put some aquaphor on it to help it stay moisturized. I can't go to the dermatologist until next week, but just wanted to know what this was? Will the skin peeling heal by itself? it's not permanent is it? i am worried and was looking for any help.
