I have an entire Proactive kit that I never used. The kit has expired, but has never been opened. Does anyone know the shelf life of Benzoyl Peroxide and Salicylic Acid when they are in a sealed product container? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Mike.
Benzoyl peroxide does expire. It won't become toxic, at least not for a while, but it will become ineffective. You'd basically be slathering just plain old cream on your face.
