I am looking for a multivitamin that might help provide extra skin benefits to aid in the reduction of my acne. I am wondering if you guys have any suggestions that you may have used or that you think may have helped your skin?
Vitamin A. 10,000 IU daily.
Vitamin B5. 500mg - 1000mg daily.
Vitamin D. 5,000 - 10,000 IU daily.
It is very important to take these vitamins, especially vitamins A & D with a full meal with protein and fat. Vitamin A and D are fat soluble and must be eaten with fat to be absorbed, and also to prevent you from feeling sick.
All of these dosages are in the normal healthy range. I don't recommend overdosing on any vitamins, though some people on these boards do.

Source Naturals Life Force Multiple tablets - very bioavailable. Most OTC brands like Centrum are essentially worthless because they are not bioavailable and use cheap forms of the constituent vitamins. They can sometimes even do more harm than help.
be VERY careful going down this road. I did. I regret it so much and vitamins wreaked HAVOC on my body so be very careful (even I was careful!)

Unless you were mega-mega-mega dosing, or taking something that isn't really natural for our bodies to have, I don't see how vitamins could "wreak havoc" on your body. What the heck were you taking?

Vitamin B5. It did its job damn well. Then my hair started falling out LOL. Dropped that sh!t like a hot potato
B12 absolutely wrecked my skin. I got completely clear by going gluten free (I've had severe acne for 15 years!) and then started taking B12 for energy for 5 weeks----my face has never ever been this bad. Ever. Come to find out, its been linked to acne flare ups (crazy ones!). Just do some research before you go that route! I have heard amazing things about D3, though!
