If anyone has tried both, which do you prefer? Is there a lot of difference between the two? Does the daily cleanser remove makeup as well as the gentle cleanser does? I'm currently using the gentle cleanser but ive been eyeing up the daily cleanser 'for normal to oily skin'. I'm on the acne.org regimen so my face gets dry easily.
Honestly I've tried both, and I prefer Alpha Hydrox Foaming Face Wash.
Out of the 2 Cetaphil cleansers, it's down to personal preference. The Daily is a little more "cleansing," for lack of a better word, in that it strips a little more oil and does "more work" than the Gentle, if that makes sense. Many people actually prefer how their skin feels after washing with the Daily, though it can be drying for some. I would assume it would remove makeup as well or probably better than the Gentle, but as a male I do not wear makeup. Since you said your face gets dry easily, you may want to stick with the Gentle, but you'd probably be fine with either as long as you're applying a moisturizer soon after washing your face.
