Quinoderm 5% Vs 10%?

Hey all.

Tried Quinoderm 5 last night to tackle a mild case of acne - mainly above my lips and on the right side of my face.

It is mildly effective - spots are less inflamed and nasty looking - but isn't really doing a whole lot. Not even drying out my skin.

Should I try Quinoderm 10?

Despite my acne being relatively minor, I've never really had any success with acne products, tried Oxy 2.5%, Sudocrem, Clearasil, Oxy wipes, and various other brands, and nothing has ever made any effect. Just thought I'd give it another go as the ones above my lip are particularly nasty right now.

Could this be an indicator that my diet's at fault, or something else?

Benzoyl Peroxide doesn't work immediately, you need to give it more than I night I think. 10% will probably dry you out loads.

I would suggest sticking with the 5%, however you may want to adapt your skin care routine.

I'd suggest using a great cleanser (my holy grail is avene soapless gel cleanser - see my review on it) and then following up with a non comedogenic moisturiser and benzoyl peroxide if you still need it.
