Toner

Hello,

I've decided I want to implement a toner into my skin routine, but not sure what to look for. On YouTube I've noticed a lot of girls (and some guys) use witch hazel as a toner, but I'm not sure it would be beneficial for my combination sensitive skin due to the alcohol content.

I want something that will remove excess dead skin, but not strip my face of its oils. I also want it to thoroughly clean my pores and prevent breakouts. What would you recommend? Have you tried witch hazel?

Thanks! :)

Try the Mario Badescu toner in the blue bottle. It does not contain alcohol, but the glycolic will help turn over the cells faster.

I have tried the Witch Hazel and it didn't do anything for me at all. It made my skin even drier while I was doing the regimen.

I use dickinsons witch hazel in the big bottle with the blue sticker. I love what it does for my skin and it actually dries up some pimples. The next day just a dead piece of skin falls off and its smooth again. But i have very oily skin and i dont use a harsh cleanser. Im beginning to think cleansers and toners must have a balancing relationship.

I know some friends that tried witch hazel but they had dry skin and it dried it further. There are some different kinds that are less harsh. Thayers makes some with rose water and different herbal components. I havent tried them as the alcohol content for me is ok.
