As the title says, I have 10% benzoyl peroxide but its too strong when I use it on my face, and I can't afford to buy low concentrations such as 2.5%, 5%. I came up with an idea, that if I mix my 10% (very small doses) with a small doses of moisturizer would it be better? Would it make it a bit weak so its not harsh for my skin (face)? Cause if I use 10% alone on my face its very harsh. Can you please give your views on this, or is there anything else I can do to lower 10% harshness of BP cause I can't buy 5% or 2.5%. :*(

Thanks.

Put the bp on your face let it try then put moisturizer on. If its really drying you out try cetaphil moisturizing cream. Works well. Only do this at night tho before you go to sleep. I just got done doing it lol I'm waiting for my epiduo to dry so I can put the cetaphil on.

Yup! That's what I used to do when all I could find was 10% bp. Mix a pea sized amount with a quarter sized amount of moisturizer. You would just mix the two in the palm of your hand with your index finger until perfectly blended.
