I read the instructions for the Regimen and the FAQs but didn't see the following. So I thought I'd ask here
(1) Do I need to wait after washing my face before applying the BP or can I do so immediately?
(2) Do I need to wait after applying the BP to apply the moisturizer or can I do so immediately?
(3) Is it okay to "dilute" the AHA by mixing it with the moisturizer or will that mess up the AHA?
(4) It says that you should avoid the skin around the eyes when applying the BP and the moisturizer (since it can pick up the BP). Is this referring to the skin under the eyes or beside the eyes?
1) No need to wait. You can apply immediately.
2) No need to wait. Some people like to wait maybe 1 minute or so to make sure the BP is dry first, but no need to wait any longer than that.
3) I recommend not diluting it. Diluting it does work for some people, but if you look at it purely scientifically, you want the pH (acidity) of the AHA to remain low so it does its job the best it can. When you dilute it, you raise the pH, which turns some of the acid to salt, rendering it less effective. So I recommend full strength once every other day. Not every day. Every other day. It's very strong, so just once every other day at full strength.
4) More under the eyes and anywhere close to the eye socket. Temples are usually pretty hearty and can withstand it.
