Hi I don't know if anyone can help, I got a few questions as I'm just starting my regimen.
1. The moisturiser is a bit too greasy for me during the day, so I was wondering if there are any alternative SPF face/gentle moisturisers I can use for daytime use and then acneorg moisturiser in the night, I want SPF as I go on the sunbeds twice a week for 15 mins and i don't use any SPF on my face at the moment, just an accelerator.
2. I'm going to be cutting down on makeup but on days where I wear it heavily how can I remove it before using the 3 step regimen?
3. Adding to that can I apply makeup on top of the creams?
and lastly
4. I got quite a lot of blackheads on my nose and I know one thing you shouldn't do is pick your skin or exfoliate it, now I have got the AHA cream to help exfoliate my skin but it says to use that 1 month into your regimen, so in the mean time when I can't exfoliate my nose what can I do about the blackheads?
any help would be deeply appreciated x
The Regimen products are effective only when used in combination with one another. To get clear you absolutely must use all three Regimen products including:
1. The Acne.org Cleanser
2. The Acne.org Treatment
3. The Acne.org Moisturizer
In regards to sunscreen, you may certainly use it while on The Regimen if you intend to stay under the sun for long periods of time.
As for makeup, we would advise that you avoid using any of as it may exacerbate your acne. However if you do insist on wearing makeup, make sure that it is non comedogenic, water based and suited for sensitive skin.

As for blackheads, it is basically sebum (oil) at the surface your skin that has oxidized and turned black. With continued use with the Acne.org products, it will slowly drain away within a few weeks.

I'd avoid using sunbeds while doing The Regimen as BP and AHA will make your skin very UV-sensitive, meaning you'll burn very easily. But if you do go tanning, try some Coppertone Oil-Free sunscreen (derm-recommended/won't clog pores) mixed in with your Acne.Org moisturizer, or try Neutrogena Oil-Free with SPF. The Regimen works best when you stick with the original products until you get clear.
A derm can prescribe a retinoid for the blackheads, but I'd wait until you're free of inflamed acne before adding another product to your Regimen. But a retinoid can work wonders for blackheads and whiteheads.
