So I was getting quite positive result after 2 months on the regimen then suddenly I got this severe chemical burns from the BP around 1 month ago.
I asked for advice on the forum before but all got was "more moisturise and jojoba oil".
I did as I was told but it didn't help. The burn just got so red and painful that I decided to stop the BP altogether.
Maybe the regimen isn't for me after all? I'm so stresses because I had thought I could get rid of acne once and for all...
Please help!

I have to ask, did you apply sunscreen at all when heading out into the sun?

I was told to expect redness or flaky skin while on BP but I'm sure I wasn't told to expect dried blood on my face. Yes, I found dried blood on my face this morning. And this is my face after I washed cery gently with the cleanser.
I think I'm gonna giving up this regimen as my face is looking far worse than it was before I tried these products.

This happens to me too. I have no idea what to do. And the burn marks makes marks after. Stays longer then a pimple. It really hurts and I stopped using the treatment. But now I have more acne then ever. How do I solve this?

I had the same problem with BP. Got a chemical burn. I had used it for about 2 years before with no problem. Guess it was too much for my skin. Same thing happened with tea tree oil. Till today I can't let BP or Tea tree oil near my face.

Same thing happened to me just a few days ago. I was on my 7th week. I suddenly developed eczema due to using BP. It had been working well for me. I think twice a day, one full finger length has totally destroyed my skin's ability to produce oil/retain water. Had to take oral steroid to calm the crazy rash all over my face. Now that my face is no longer swollen, the redness still looks horrible regardless. Don't know what to do now except for lathering my face with a ton of moisturizer daily in hope for restoring its oil production/water retention ability. Sigh. Does anyone have any suggestions on dealing with this?
